Interesting old Shinto relic of the scapegoat ritual. Glad they did not just grab a stranger off the road like in the old days, though the Yakuza may still do that, noticed some full body tats on the men. And in the end nothing like a warm cup of sake after running around nude all day in a crowd of men!
