Debus is a traditional form of art from Banten in West Java, Indonesia. It is both a physical and spiritual form of practice, which is aimed at the development of (physical) invulnerability. People tend to be sceptical about the skills which are being demonstrated in public during these Debus shows.
This video, however, is not meant to start a discussion or a debate about whether the potential powers within Debus are real or merely a form of trickery, but rather is it focusing on the sharing of this unique form of traditional art and its extraordinary characteristics.
