Secretul nemuririi fizice şi spirituale

În istoria acestei planete Hermes Trismegistos (Thoth) pare să fi deschis calea aşa-numiţilor Ghizi spirituali nemuritori, ce deţineau secretul vieţii eterne şi cheia nemuririi fizice şi totodată spirituale. De altfel, însăşi durata extrem de lungă a vieţii acestui suprem Ghid spiritual, considerat o încarnare divină ce a trăit 16000 de ani, constituie o mărturie incontestabilă în acest sens.

Tradiţia spirituală vorbeşte, de altfel, despre Thoth şi cei 1000 de Ghizi spirituali nemuritori din Lemuria şi Atlantida ce au vegheat Pământul şi au predat ştiinţa desăvârşirii spirirtuale şi a nemuririi fizice din timpuri străvechi.

Astfel, tot aşa cum pasărea Pheonix, simbol al nemuririi şi al alchimiei spirituale, şi care constituia, de altfel, şi simbolul cuplului divin pe care Thoth şi iubita sa Seshed îl formau, renaşte mereu din propria-i cenuşă, tot astfel şi fiinţa umană ce a fost creată după chipul şi asemănarea lui DUMNEZEU poate, prin intermediul cunoaşterii şi punerii în practică a secretelor divine ce au fost revelate fiinţelor pline de credinţă care aspiră sincer către DUMNEZEU, să atingă nemurirea.

Prezentăm în acest sens în continuare învăţătura extrem de valoroasă care a fost revelată de Thoth (Hermes Trismegistos) cu privire la aceste aspecte.

Cheia vieţii şi a morţii

Află că Pământul e viu, aşa cum tu eşti viu în propria-ţi formă formată
Floarea Vieţii este precum propriul tău loc al Spiritului şi curge prin Pământ
aşa precum al tău curge prin forma ta;

Dăruind viaţă Pământului şi copiilor lui, reînnoind Spiritul din formă în formă.
Acesta este Spiritul care este forma corpului tău, modelându-se în propria lui formă.
Află, omule, că forma ta e duală, echilibrată în polaritate, deşi formată în propria formă.
Află că atunci când Moartea se apropie cu repeziciune de tine,
acest lucru se întâmplă doar pentru că echilibrul tău este zdruncinat.
Se întâmplă doar pentru că un pol s-a pierdut.

Să ştii că secretul vieţii din Amenti este secretul refacerii echilibrului polilor.
Tot ceea ce există are formă şi trăieşte datorită Spiritului vieţii din poli.
Nu înţelegi că în sufletul Pământului se află echilibrul tuturor lucrurilor care există şi au fiinţă pe suprafaţa lui?

Sursa Spiritului tău este atrasă din centrul pământului,
căci în forma pe care o ai, tu eşti una cu Pământul.
Când vei fi învăţat să-ţi păstrezi echilibrul propriu
atunci vei atrage echilibrul Pământului.

Aşază-te o oră în fiecare zi cu capul orientat spre locul unde se află polul pozitiv (nord magnetic).
În fiecare zi timp de o oră capul tău trebuie să fie îndreptat spre polul negativ (sud).
În timp ce capul e îndreptat spre nord păstrează-ţi mintea între piept şi cap.
Iar când capul este îndreptat spre sud, păstrează-ţi conştiinţa între piept şi picioare.

Păstreaza-te în echilibru o dată la şapte zile, iar echilibrul tău va fi mai puternic ca oricând.
Da, dacă eşti bătrân, corpul tău se va simţi revigorat,
iar puterea ta va deveni ca cea a unui tânăr.
Acesta este secretul ştiut de Maeştri, prin care ţin la distanţă Moartea.
Nu uita să urmezi calea pe care ţi-am arătat-o, căci atunci când vei fi trecut de 100 de ani,
neglijând-o, vei atrage Moartea.

Dezvăluirile incendiare ale unui bancher elveţian despre acţiunile criminale pe care le realizează grupul Bilderberg

Un bancher elveţian, care a participat la întruniri ale grupului şi care tocmai de aceea preferă să-şi păstreze anonimatul, a acordat în luna mai la Moscova un interviu incendiar redactorilor de la publicaţia Noviden.

Conform mărturiei elveţianului, grupul Bilderberg se foloseşte de băncile elveţiene pentru a finanţa răsturnări de guvern, falimentarea unor ţări, corupţia unor oficiali şi chiar uciderea unor persoane care au putere să se opună politicilor grupului.

Nu toţi participanţii la întrunirile Bilderberg au cunoştinţă de aceste lucruri, pentru că şi în sânul grupului de elită, la fel ca şi în sânul francmasoneriei, există unele „bisericuţe”. Josef Ackermann, director executiv al Deutsche Bank şi membru al comitetului de vârf al Bilderbergilor este acuzat de bancherul elveţian că orchestrează multe dintre aceste activităţi oculte. Ideea care îi este cea mai dragă lui Ackermann şi la care lucrează acum asiduu este cenzurarea totală în cel mai scurt timp a internetului.

I: Ce puteţi să ne spuneţi despre activităţile dvs. ca bancher?

R: Am lucrat în sistemul bancar elveţian ani îndelungaţi, chiar şi ca director al uneia dintre cele mai puternice bănci. Atunci am fost implicat în plata pentru asasinarea unui preşedinte de stat. Am participat la întrunirea directorilor băncii, în care s-a hotărât să se plătească pentru această acţiune. Asta m-a dat peste cap rău de tot.

Un serviciu secret străin a trimis o cerere scrisă de mână prin care solicita plata unei sume pentru o persoană care lichidase un preşedinte! Şi nu a fost singurul caz de acest fel. Am primit o seamă de astfel de cereri scrise de mână din partea unor servicii secrete, care aveau fonduri pentru organizarea de revoluţii ori pentru ucideri la comandă.

Eu confirm ceea ce a scris John Perkins în cartea sa „Confessions of an Economic Hit Man”. Există un sistem financiar pentru astfel de operaţiuni şi unele bănci elveţiene fac parte din el.

I: Ne poţi spune despre ce bănci este vorba şi cine anume din aceste bănci este implicat?

R: Este vorba de una dintre cele trei bănci elveţiene din vârf la timpul asasinării acelui preşedinte din lumea a treia. Mai mult, nu-mi risc viaţa. Eram mai multe persoane la adunare când cineva a venit cu acea cerere şi, cum era vorba de o sumă mare cash, a trebuit să se facă o informare sumară a speţei. După care directorii au zis „O.K!”

I: Ce fel de fonduri erau acestea?

R: Speciale! Codificate. Cifrul veneau odată cu cererile. Aşa funcţionau, conform înţelegerilor la vârf. Cererile care deblocau cele mai mari sume erau scrise de mână! Trebuiau descifrate.


Ele conţineau sume de bani pentru asasinate, pentru organizarea de greve, de revolte şi pentru finanţarea unor partide de opoziţie în diverse ţări. Ştiu membri ai grupului Bilderberg care sunt implicaţi în aşa ceva.

I: Măcar ne puteţi spune în ce decadă se întâmplau astfel de operaţiuni?

R: În anii ’80.

I: Aveaţi vreo problemă să lucraţi cu astfel de fonduri?

R: O mare problemă. Nu mai puteam să dorm. De-asta am şi părăsit banca până la urmă. Erau implicaţii periculoase. Cei care organizaseră fondurile erau membri ai unor servicii secrete, cele mai multe din ţări vorbitoare de limba engleză. Trebuia să plătim criminali care ucideau oameni ce se opuneau planurilor Bilderberg, FMI şi Băncii Mondiale, de exemplu.

I: De ce ne acordaţi acest interviu? Sau de ce ni-l acordaţi acum?

R: Pentru ca Bilderbergii se întrunesc anul acesta în Elveţia. Pentru că situaţia mondială devine din ce în ce mai critică şi pentru că băncile elveţiene sunt implicate în acţiuni lipsite de etică, dispunând de fonduri aflate în afara oricărui control financiar şi e vorba de sume cu multe, multe zerouri.

I: Miliarde?

R: Mii de miliarde, în afara taxelor! Ceea ce se întâmplă este împotriva sistemului elveţian al valorilor, bazat pe încredere, bunăvoinţă şi neutralitate. Am asistat la discuţii care sunt împotriva principiilor democratice. Directorii băncilor elevetiene nici nu mai sunt elveţieni, ci vin din afară, majoritatea anglo-saxoni, americani, britanici care nu respectă neutralitatea declarată a elveţienilor.

Aceştia distrug Grecia, Spania, Portugalia, Irlanda şi Elveţia, care este ţinta acum, când nu mai au nevoie de ea. Josef Ackermann este cetăţean elveţian, dar este în fruntea unei bănci străine şi se foloseşte de putere ca să distrugă.

I: Oamenii despre care ne-aţi vorbit vor fi prezenţi anul acesta la întrunirea Bilderbergilor de la St. Moritz?

R: Categoric. Dispun de sume enorme de bani şi au un plan. Vor distruge economia Europei şi vor construi alta în China. Până atunci, au deschis pieţele europene pentru mărfurile chineze. Sistemele de învăţământ europene cad, iar noua generaţie va şti din ce în ce mai puţin. Asta va distruge Europa pe termen lung.

I: Credeţi că întâlnirea din Elveţia de anul acesta are valoare simbolică? În 2009 s-au întâlnit în Grecia, în 2010 în Spania, iar acum, aceste ţări sunt pe marginea prăpastiei. Credeţi că aşa o să se întâmple şi cu Elveţia?

R: Este un obiectiv al lor. Elveţia nu este în UE, nici în „zona euro” şi categoric nu este controlată de la Bruxelles. Vorbesc de Elveţia ca ţară, nu ca sistem bancar, pentru că acesta e deja al lor şi-l manevrează cum vor. Întâlnirea de aici transmite acest mesaj, că acum noi urmăm!

I: Care să fie ţelul lor? Vor să creeze o dictatură globală controlată de mari corporaţii, fără state suverane?

R: Exact. Iar suveranitatea statelor se consumă prin datoriile pe care le fac la aceste organizaţii. Ei urmăresc falimentarea tuturor statelor de parcă ar fi vorba de bănci. Numai aşa pot să-şi impună interesele şi să dicteze. UE simte deja din plin apăsarea de fier a grupului Bilderberg.

I: Ce ar putea să-i stopeze?

R: De aceea am acceptat să dau acest interviu. Există ceva la îndemâna tuturor care-i poate stopa: adevărul! Trebuie dezvăluit tot adevărul! Nu le place deloc să fie în lumină, deci puneţi urgent reflectoarele pe ei! Transparenţa deplină în politicile bancare şi la toate nivelurile societăţii i-ar stopa cu siguranţă.

I: Care bănci elveţiene sunt implicate?

R: Cele care-şi antrenează staff-ul după valori anglo-saxone, nu cele autentic elveţiene, care au cel mai corect sistem. E vorba de băncile care operează la nivel global.

I: Deci ne sfătuiţi că trebuie să-i expunem public, să arătăm cine sunt în realitate Bilderbergii.

R: Cazul Strauss-Kahn este o oportunitate de a arăta cine sunt şi cum sunt. Sunt nişte corupţi, cu nişte minţi bolnave, plini de vicii pe care le ascund sub pulpana ordinului lor. Unii sunt întocmai ca Strass-Kahn, violatori, alţii sunt sadomasochişti, alţii pedofili şi mulţi sunt de fapt satanişti.

Uitaţi-vă la simbolurile sataniste pe care le afişează unele bănci, inclusiv Rothschild Bank din Zürich. Oamenii aceştia sunt şantajabili din cauza slăbiciunilor lor. Trebuie să urmeze strict anumite ordine şi cei care vor să iasă din rând, imediat sunt expuşi, cu reputaţia distrusă sau chiar ucişi. Strauss-Kahn, de exemplu – din cauza viziunilor lui socialiste – putea s-o păţească şi mai rău, putea să fie ucis!

I: Dacă afirmaţi că Ackermann este un factor de decizie în comitetul Bilderbergilor, credeţi că el e implicat în astfel de acţiuni?

R: Da, dar nu numai el. Mai sunt mulţi alţii, ca de exemplu Christine Lagarde, care va fi, probabil, viitoarea şefă a FMI. Şi ea este membră Bilderberg, ca şi Sarkozy şi Obama. Planul lor actual este cenzurarea urgentă şi totală a internetului, care este liber şi prin care circulă adevărul cutremurător despre obiectivele lor.

Pe motivul că este utilizat de terorişti să-şi transmită mesaje, vor ajunge în curând să controleze şi chiar să cenzureze total internetul. Sau cine ştie ce atrocitate inventează ca să realizeze apoi imediat acest plan.

I: De asta vă e temă.

R: Nu e vorba doar de teamă. Oamenii ăştia sunt criminali şi nu au scrupule în a da ordine de asasinare. Dacă vor avea senzaţia că pierd cumva controlul, aşa cum se întâmplă din cauza opoziţiei faţă de FMI a populaţiei din Grecia şi Spania şi posibil în curând şi în Italia, nu vor ezita să inventeze o nouă „reţea Gladio”.

Am fost aproape şi de această nouă reţea. Instigă din umbră la terorism şi, mai mult decât atât, sponsorizează grupuri teroriste, pentru a controla guvernele din state europene, precum Italia, unde uciderea lui Aldo Moro a fost în realitate plătită prin sistemul pe care ţi l-am descris.

I: Ackermann face parte dintr-un astfel de sistem?

R: Sunteţi jurnalişti, urmăriţi-i cu atenţie cariera şi mai ales observaţi cât de repede a ajuns în top. Dar sistemul lor criminal funcţionează în toată lumea şi implică o mulţime de oameni.

I: De ce credeţi că mass-media occidentală nu tratează acest subiect?

R: Pentru că de fapt ori există o înţelegere secretă cu patronii, ori, dacă aceştia sunt recalcitranţi, le cumpără din umbră publicaţiile.

I: Câţi dintre aceşti participanţi sunt avizaţi de planurile lipsite de etică, multe dintre ele criminale, ale grupului?

R: Există un cerc interior ultrasecret în care îi găseşti pe aceşti satanişti. În afara acestui cerc, oamenii complet neinformaţi şi chiar foarte naivi sunt din ce în ce mai mulţi.

Cu fondurile MAE si ale Ministerului Culturii, ICR a scos ceaslovul „Romania medievala”. Costurile, cu tot cu expozitiile internationale unde va fi prezentata caramida lui Patapievici, se vor ridica la 7 milioane de euro. Despre ICR, Patapievici a spus ca „functioneaza ca institutie non-politica, neutra fata de oferta culturala!”.

In bucoavna „Romania medievala” se scrie ca, aici se gasea „un mozaic de civilizatii, intr-un teritoriu al nimanui”. Mda, neutralitatea lui Patapievici se traduce printr-un partizanat care il lasa in umbra pana si pe Csibi Barna! Traim intr-un echilibru interetnic fragil, iar Patapievici, in loc sa evite tensiunile, le provoaca.

In loc sa fie recunoscator statului abulic, le face jocurile celor care vor sa-l sparga. Cand bagabontii pesedisti au tiparit, tot pe multe milioane de euro, albumul „Eterna si fascinanta Romanie”, banda lui Patapievici a luat foc.

Nu numai scarbele lui Iliescu, ci si odangiii lui Ceausescu s-au dovedit mai cinstiti decat Patapievici. Aia umflau banutul si lingeau Puterea. Sinecuristii lui Patapievici sunt singurii atarnatori din lume care-si injura platitorul. Cand comanditar era Soros, sustineau ca ei sunt niste particulari care demitizeaza. Vrajeala suna acceptabil.

Acum, falsifica istoria cu sprijinul financiar al guvernului. Puii de kominternisti au saltat 7 milioane de euro pe o carte de 2 ruble. Asta da schimb valutar si ideologic!

Pentru ca albumul de lux – editat in patru limbi pentru a fi difuzat in lume in cadrul unui proiect estimat de ICR si MAE la 7.000.000 de euro -, circula in regim nomenclaturist, Ziaristi Online ofera tuturor celor interesati partea “istorica”, in limba romana, in integralitatea sa.

In marele “mozaic etnic si cultural” din “pustiul” tarilor romane, prezentat unui public international (!), domnitorilor romani li se omite exact nationalitatea romana, cu totii fiind denumiţi pe placul lui Laszlo Tokes si Vladimir Voronin: care e ardelean, care e moldovean. Va lasam sa parcurgeti singuri, mai jos, acest sacrilegiu la adresa istoriei nationale. Cititi si, mai ales, nu uitati!

These animal societies predate the colonial period butt were gathered to fight the encroachment of European colonialism. This was a time of persecution and unfounded accusations by various European governors of cannibalism and murder. It is not uncommon for freedom fighters throughout the world to be smeared by governmental powers, and so it was with the animal societies.

Becoming The Animal

These men of power actually became the animal. They lived in the body of a leopard, lion or baboon. One could speak to another leopard brother and convey messages and still have another meaning to the ears of those who were not a part of the secret society.

This language that was inside the greater society-yet seperate-involved animal calls, ritual urination and a host of other physical standards which served to bind the group.

Sacred clothing was sometimes used along with traditional weapons, such as claws and special knives. These items would be used to eliminate certain people who were opposed to the society as a whole. The human leopard would be so animal –like that it was very hard to distinguish its work from that of an actual leopard. When someone of the leopard society was sent on a mission, they would leave tracks and wounds appearing to be the result of leopard claws and teeth. Animal attributes were used in every day life to help bind the greater society to its subunits.

Sacred Space

In the bush, sacred space was designed for ritual communalism and meetings for the society’s business. Training consisted of dances passed down from generation to generation, which came from the first ancestors of the clans. Conversations and communions of the actual leopards and herbal preparations.

The animal societies of Africa played a great role in its history. The power of these societies is most often overlooked but their power is immense, existing to this very day. These societies continue to secure the traditions of the animal clan ancestors.

The lion societies are identified with solar and kingly power. The mane of the male lion is symbolic of the sun’s corona, an outgrowth of its inner fire. The lion is revered for its way of life because lions live in a society.. Lions live in large family groups in which the female is the principle hunter and the male is the ever-present guardian of the group. All members are responsible for the protection of the young.

The lion skin can only be worn by the most powerful warriors who have proven themselves in battle. Lions and leopards represented as fully zoomorphic and anthropomorphic deities such as Mahes, Apedmak and Sekmet, who were all warriors.

Societies Evolve

Reverence to the ancient warrior gods by the priesthood eventually developed into the lion societies of East and West Africa. The knowledge of the animal systems came from the deities themselves through the spiritual systems. Warriors of extraordinary martial skill empowered by the deity would perform miraculous feats of strength and endurance.

Dramas of an initiatory nature were performed only in the proper season to harmonize with the universal forces. The main emphasis is not on developing techniques, but the principles upon which those techniques are founded. Also developed was a fighting conscious within the nature of man through divine principles. Man’s nature is departmentalized into constituent parts:Ara (physical body); Ojiji (shadow); lye (mental body,mind)); Oka (heart, heart soul); and Emi (spirit, spiritual body, spiritual soul).

These aspects of the nature of man blend together and merge with the animal souls to develop the lion and leopard fighting systems.. Warriors at a very young age were blessed and sanctified to the clan animal. The warrior was taught the sacred dances , music and songs to evoke the sate of consciousness of the great elder (the first lion or leopard from which the group identifies).

Animal Systems

The body’s organs are the divine receptors for the animal souls. The Emi. Activated by the will, enabled the warrior to transform or shapeshift into the clan animal. These principles are part of the ancient and contemporary African animal fighting societies. The Ta-merrian Institute seeks the preservation of these societies for their divine knowledge.

Animal systems practiced at the Ta-merrian Institute that reflect many of the principles held sacred in the warrior societies are;

Lion.

.Snake

.Phoenix

. Ape

.Crocodile

.Panther

.Bull

The Lion-its regal appearance and ferocious style is the solar fighting system. The lion’s mane unites the symbols of sun fire (solar head and heart) and of air through the strong respiratory chest of the lion that fires the fighting emotions.

The Snake-Consisting of a vertebral column coated with skin, it is a column so supple that it can take almost any position of the risen body of the cobra.

The Phoenix-The solar bird is reborn from its own ashes; symbolic of rebirth. It is sometimes identified with various types of animals in ancient times, mostly the cranes.

The Ape-A large monkey with elongated muzzle. Ferocious fighter noted for its mane. Its cries at dawn and dusk have given it an important symbolic role.

The Crocodile-Low threshing movements, the terror in water transmuting the elements of water and air, adjusting different levels of evolution.

The Panther-Symbolic of strength and power. Many tribes in Africa still wear the ritual panther skin to bring strength to the wearer.

The Bull- The animal type for generating force to completely dominate an opponent.

The human leopards and the lions who walk like man reveal the ancient powers of man. Those powers can still be called upon by the African warriors of today to oppose injustice.They can also be called upon to preserve more complete way of like and the principles modern man has forsaken. Inclusion of ancient principles into today’s society may recapture an elusive manhood and bring us back to a former greatness which is needed, sadly missed and hopefully can be recaptured.

The Martial Arts Of Africa

Shrouded in mystery for centuries, the most ancient arts in the world are finally surfacing.

The martial arts of Africa presented to the world one of the earliest forms of systematic combat. The use of weapons such as the spear, mace, sword, and the bow and arrow all have their origins in Africa. The unarmed forms of combat exemplified the movements of certain animals held sacred by the ancient Africans. They found early in their history that these animal principles could be isolated within the consciousness of man and manifested into an unconquerable fighting force.

Of course, this was thousands of years before there was civilization in those areas commonly thought to be the “birthplace” of martial arts. It was the ancient Africans who first gave to the world military science. The martial beginnings started with mankind’s desire to preserve and organize combative principles in system that could be readily taught to subsequent generations.

On the African continent, the oldest remains, tools, and weapons of man are found. The oldest martial arts records in existence are in the form of hieroglyphics in what is today called Egypt. The ancient Egyptian priesthood taught systems of combat based upon history, legend, amd myths about the goods and goddesses. As ;aid down by the religion, every great temple maintenance an armed force to protect its interests..

The weapons of the pre-dynastic Egyptian soldier were:

.a stout cudgel made of wood

.a mace or club

.a spear made of wood with a slice of flint fastened to one end

.a bow and arrows

.a flint knife or dagger

.a battle ax formed by tying a slab of stone or flint to the short, stout wooden handle

.a curved stick.

These weapons were pre-dynastic (prior to the year c.4100 BCE, when King Narmer of upper Egypt, through warfare, united upper and lower Egypt, making the two countries one. Under the Middle Kingdom, the soldier defended himself with a shield of wood or wickerwork covered with hide and sometimes strengthened with a metal rim. The standard under which he fought had for its head the figure of the hawk of “the god Horus”.

The ancestors tell us that there were nine powers that enlivened man’s soul. They were as follows; Ka, Ba, Ab, Khat, Khaibit, Ku, Sahu, Sekhem, and Ren.

The Ka was defined as the double or energy body.

The Ba is the heart-soul; the receiver of feelings.

Ab is the mental, seat of highest intelligence.

Khat is the physical body, vehicle of expression on the physical plane.

Khaibit is the shadow, the essential essence of reflection.

Ku is the spiritual body, where rest man’s morality.

Sahu is the spiritual body, where the Ku soul lives.

Sekhem is the power, the spiritual personification of the physical forces.

Finally Ren, “the name”, is the attribute that brings all things into manifestation.

These nine powers stem from an inseperable unity where, if one element were missing, the other half would cease to exist. In the ancient African arts, the name of the warrior was of special importance. Most warriors were named after the deities or elemental powers. This would cause the warrior to take upon the attributes of that particular deity through sympathetic magic.

The following procedures occurred in a succession of initiations over a period of years. The warrior’s head and body were washed with certain herbal medicines to give strength and protection from physical as well as spiritual assaults. Next, each extremity was empowered and was sanctified to a particular animal force.

The practitioner was then taught the sacred dances, music and songs to physchologically attune the body to the specific state of consciousness that corresponded to a particular animal nature or being possessed by the animal nature.

The organs of the body were considered divine receptors for the animal doubles or the Kha’s . Each organ held a an animal soul or the cutoff point in the evolution dormant within the physical body. The human soul, activated by will, enabled the warrior to transform or “shape” himself into any animal form he wished.

These secrets, known only to the initiated, sstemmed from the custodians of knowledge, or the nine powers of the soul. Part of the divine worship consisted of fasting, prayer, meditation, offering, sacrifice, aabstinnnence, sacred languagee, and the following seven liberal arts:

.logic

.arithmetic

.geometry

.astronomy

.music

Certain formulae were memorized, such as the transformation into the Crocodile god Sebak, which is as follows;

“The Osiris Ani, whose word is truth, saith; ‘I am the Crocodile-god Sebak, who dwelleth amid his terrors. I am the Crocodile-god, and I seize my prey like a ravening beast. I am the great Fish which is Kamu. I am the Lord to whom bowings and prostrations are made in Sekhem (Letopolis). And the OsirisAni is the Lord to whom the bowings and prsstarations are made in Sekhem.”

This is just one of the prayers of transformation which, when approached in the proper manner, would bring about the desired results in combat. The ancient Africans laid down the fundamental basis for self-mastery, with the warrior arts as one of the vehicles.

The masters stated that man is the guardian of the earth, a warrior of the earth, and that it is from the earth that he draws his strength. It is on earth that man dies and is reborn as a divine warrior drawing understanding from the gods, for it was they who had to receive the blood of the warrior to let him do battle upon earth.

Man may then be accepted into the African mysteries of warfare, to hold the keys to the elemental and universal forces, and to acquire the attributes and lineage of all who came before him ion a hierarchical structure extending to the beginning of time.

It is this culmination of power from the ancestral warrior that lives in each initiated warrior. This is the force of the African martial arts on a spiritual level. With each punch or kick, the complete structure lends its support to each individual motion through will, intent, and purpose.

Any ancient martial art form leads us to weaponry. The p[eople with the best-eqipped army could utilize their weapons in combat and, therefore had the most proficient artmy. Practitioners of this art are taught the use of different types of weapons, including the classical weapons; the bow and arrow, the spear, sword, mace. and ax. We also utilize stick-fighting along with throwing weapons such as the boomerang and certain knives.

In this day and age, we use the weapons primarily to help build strength and awareness. This also teaches the student to be able to transfer strength not only to the end of the extremities, but beyond them. This makes the empty-hand art that much more effective because one learns to channel force passed the confines of the body.

Ta-merrian is expressed metaphysically on three levels. The first is the celestial battle of the sun as it descends into the netherworld. The sun battles the demons and fiends as they try to halt its progress into the land of darkness. The next level is man’s battle after death, where he encounters the demons of hell in order to pass into the next life which is eternal. The third level is man’s day-to-day battle for existence on the earth.

The ancients saw a correlation between man, nature, and the universe as being one, only on different levels. The system is, on its highest level, seeing the balance between the negative and the positive forces.

Ta-Merrian comprises armed and unarmed techniques, utilizing the movements of the seven sacred animals/ These particular animals manifest certain principles in nature lying dormant in man, and through the imitation of a particular animal. We seek to understand the essence within ourselves.

These animals are: 1) the lion, 2) the snake. 3) the phoenix, 4) the ape, 5) the crocodile, 6) the panther and 7) the bull.

Through imitating the movements of these animals, we seek to awaken their attributes within ourselves. Additionally these seven animals help the practitioner of Ta-Merrian understand his/her relationship to the earth and all things.

The Baura Wrist Knife of Africa

Decorative, Yet Deadly

Watching the young boys play, surrounded by their elders, one notices a mysterious array of body adornments. The unsuspecting would never see the deadly weapon shrouded within the ornate beauty of this wrist bracelet known as a baura. Passed down through the ages, this bracelet is an efficient combat companion of the African warrior.

“Baura play”is a highly developed martial art form that can be found throughout the African continent. Still worn and practiced in many countries, the baura is often displayed as jewelry.

The baura is a thin iron disc. The inside is covered with leather to protect the wrist; the outside is stone-ground to razor sharpness. When used in combat, the bracelet is pushed onto the lower part of the hand to apply strikes. Some baura also have one or more projections designed to tear into the opponent.

Traditionally, baura matches are held in Africa during the dry season, following the annual harvest. In the contest, two opponents try to strike one another with the wrist knife. Any blow is legal, but the most common target is the head. The combatants close the distance between each other by using deceptive, rhythmic hand movements. Once at close range, fighters use trapping, grappling, low-line kicking, leg-immobilization, and throwing maneuvers.

Music accompanies traditional baura play. The basic instrument is the drum, upon which the traditional fighting rhythms are played. Accompanying the music are individual songs played for each fighter, telling of his history and the names of his ancestors. The baura is also part of the curriculum for young boys, preparing them for war and personal combat.

Although baura matches are certainly dangerous, deaths are rare due to the highly developed training and skill of the contestants.

The baura, also known as the Shensi by the Maguzawa people of Nigeria, is referred to by many other names throughout the African continent. Parts of West Africa refer to it as a kwaraya. In Egypt, the Nubians call it an auau, and it is called zuar by the Nubaa tribes of Sudan. In some areas, the baura is used in conjunction with a small shield held by the left hand for parrying and striking.

When a young boy begins to show promise as a dedicated baura student, he is tutored by “his uncles” (older men). Practice involves training with pseudo knives of plaited grass around their wrists. When the young boys reach puberty, a more formalized training process begins which is part of their initiation to manhood.

The initiates are taken away from the village and taught by the “fighting deities.” Performing meticulous fighting patterns, followed by a series of tests by the combat masters, the young boys are given the first level of the fighting secrets of their family. Their juniors, who focus on copying the most popular fighter’s style, look upon the combat masters as heroes.

Baura are primarily used to cut an opponent at close range. Following tradition, the rear hand plays the defensive role, while the knife hand is used during stick fighting to cut, trap, block and/or disarm the opponent’s stick. When wielding a bow, the baura acts as a sight and acts as a protector against the recoiling bowstring.

A Baura technique consists of circular and linear figure-eight strikes. The hand is held high, waving in circular patterns to confuse and break the opponent’s rhythm. Timing and elusiveness are developed to a high level since one cut can stop a match. At close range, the fighter’s sensitivity, guts, and skill are severely tested.

Kicks are often combined with baura techniques and are generally directed to the lower half of the leg. They are used to unbalance the opponent so he can be thrown to the ground. The opponent rarely uses high kicks because of the opportunity they present for leg cuts.

In competition, when one fighter admits defeat, has blood flowing too profusely, or obviously cannot continue, the match is stopped. A draw is often declared when two opponents are evenly matched. Referees are ex-fighters with a great deal f experience on matters of baura play.

In the event of an overly heated match, the master fighters will separate the two combatants immediately and the fighter with the highest number of match wins is declared the champion. This increases his prestige and station in life, and also insures that he will marry into a good family. Praise songs will be sung about his deeds, and he will be compared to a bull, leopard, or lion. Young boys will also imitate his personal fighting style.

The baura can be worn as a bracelet –like accessory for men and women, or, should the occasion arise when trouble is near, it can be pushed to the lower part of the hand where it is ready for practical action. It is a welcome challenge to any martial artists with an interest in classical weaponry.

Why You Should Charge More

One of the tenets of wealthy freelancing is getting more out of the work you do. Getting more out of it in the way of enjoyment, satisfaction — and, of course, income!

And one of the best ways to boost your income is to raise your fees until they’re truly aligned with the value you deliver. Once you reach that level of parity, you must continually work to add even greater value, which in turn allows you to raise your fees again and earn a better living.

(You can also boost your income by improving your productivity, but that’s another training episode.)

Of course, when your fees are higher than the average freelancer in your field, it won’t be long before a prospect balks at your quote. You’ll hear comments such as, “Wow! I usually pay 30 percent less with other freelancers.”

Or, “Are you kidding? This should only take you a couple of hours to complete. How can you justify charging $600?”

There are several ways to address these pricing objections (some of which I’ve never used because they involve profane language!). But the best commentary I’ve ever heard on this issue came from author and blogger Jonathan Fields.

In a recent blog post, Jonathan commented on his recent throat surgery. He ended up going with a top-notch (and ultra-expensive) specialist who didn’t take his insurance. But Jonathan was happy to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket because, as he pointed out,

“I wasn’t paying for his ‘time in the O.R.’ I was paying to be as far as possible away from the guy who went first. I was paying for his 25 years perfecting his skills, thousands of patients, tens of thousands of hours and tons of newbie mistakes avoided. I was, quite simply, paying not to be first.”

Here’s the thing, my fellow freelancers. If you’re experienced — and if you’re good — smart clients are NOT paying for your time. They’re paying to be as far away from your first client (and the mistakes from your first project) as possible.

Smart clients don’t want costly mistakes. They don’t want the project to bomb. And they certainly don’t want to hold your hand.

Instead, they want to be able to award you the project and feel confident that you’ll come through and deliver an excellent product. On time and with little to no hassle.

The more experience you gain, the more projects you work on, the more problems you help clients solve, the more value you can add…and the more you’re worth.

So the question is... Are you charging accordingly?

Now... I’m not going to sit here and just tell you to charge more. Yes, I’ve found that most of us underprice our services—some by a lot!

But before you do anything, you need to be honest with yourself. You need to determine how much your clients value you and your services.

One of the best ways to illustrate this point is with the Cobb Value Curve, which was developed by William C. Cobb, a consultant based in Houston, TX who works with law firms.

If you look at the diagram above, the horizontal axis represents the volume of work available in the market for the services you provide. On the other side is the relative value those services deliver, as perceived by your clients.

So, at the very top, you have hugely important needs (“nuclear” events) the client needs to take are of right now. For instance, say you’re a crisis-communications expert. And one of your clients is Acme Foods, which makes peanut butter. Say that there’s been a massive food-safety alert involving Acme’s peanut butter products, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall of tends of thousands of jars of Acme’s product.

Your client is now in crisis mode. They need help communicating to their customers and to their retailers. They need you, and they need you now. They’re not shopping around. They want someone who can take care of this problem in the best and most professional manner possible.

Few of us have the luxury of being in that situation all the time. I certainly don’t. But it doesn’t need to be a catastrophe. If it’s massively urgent for your client, it qualifies.

OK, but what about more common occurrences? Well, there’s still great opportunity outside of nuclear events. In fact, it’s the sweet spot, and it’s the place you want to shoot for. It involves situations where you bring your experience and track record to bear... and you’re hired mainly because of that experience.

Note that this is a great place to work because you’re still in an area where there’s less price sensitivity. The client perceives your expertise and track record as very valuable. Which explains why she is not as price sensitive as she would be with other types of services or in other situations.

Assignment

Yes, I think you should charge more. But before you go there, I urge you to take a hard look at your experience, expertise, skills, work background and track record.

Then, ask yourself: how does all this make you different and better than others you’re competing against?

Take your time with that question. Write as many answers or reasons as you can.

Next, if you’re not already doing so, how can you communicate that value and expertise throughout your website, your marketing communications, and your conversations with prospects.

And how can you do it in a way that makes sense to them?

For instance, I’m a marketing copywriter. But rather than just saying that, I tell prospects about my software sales background. And how I leverage that experience and track record to write marketing and sales pieces their sales force can use to generate more leads and speed up their sales cycles.

A business development consultant I know positions himself as an expert in Latin American market expansion for telecommunications companies. He ran the Latin American division for a global telecom company, and now works with companies who are trying to expand into these markets. His experience is invaluable for his clients.

A graphic designer I recently met is an expert at designing visual elements for events. Specifically, customer conferences, trade shows, and industry symposiums. Many of her peers are being commoditized, but because of her specialty and her track record with that type of work, she commands higher fees.

So, the lesson here is to not discount anything. Take a hard look at your background and experience. And find as many reasons as you can to start communicating higher value to your prospects. If you do that successfully, you’ll soon find yourself consistently working in that sweet spot of the Cobb Value Curve.
