Site-ul NASA (www.nasa.gov, Administraţia Naţională pentru Aeronautică şi Spaţiu a SUA) a fost desfiinţat, iar agenţia urmează a fi închisă.

Internauţii se întreabă acum cine-i va ţine la curent cu apropierea cometei Ison de Pământ şi alte evenimente din spaţiu.

NASA se află pe lista instituţiilor şi serviciilor federale care urmează a fi închise după ce, la 1 octombrie, Congresul SUA nu a reuşit să cadă de acord asupra proiectului de buget pentru anul 2014, determinând intrarea guvernului federal într-un blocaj parţial.

“Peste 700.000 de angajaţi federali vor rămâne acasă, iar parcurile naţionale, muzeele, instituţiile şi serviciile federale vor fi închise în cea mai mare parte până la reglementarea situaţiei”, explică Agerpres, care citează BBC.

NASA, înfiinţată la 29 iulie 1958, este agenția reponsabilă de programul spațial public al Statelor Unite ale Americii și de cercetarea aerospațială civilă și militară pe termen lung.

“Toate instituţiile publice americane aflate în sbordinea şi finanţate direct de guvernul federal – şi nu din fonduri locale din fiecare stat – sunt afectate de blocajul din Congres (…) Printre acestea se numără Poşta, agenţia pentru protecţia mediului, NASA, unele departamente ale armatei, unităţile de învăţământ şi multe altele”, scrie Adevarul.ro.

Publicaţia citată oferă următoarele detalii despre situaţia actuală a NASA:
Administraţia Naţională pentru Aeronautică şi Spaţiu este finanţată direct de guvernul federal şi lucrează acum cu personal redus.
Practic, mai multe grupuri de experţi, clădiri şi operaţiuni NASA au fost sistate, altele închise publicului.

Totodată, toate programele educaţionale derulate de NASA în insituţii de învăţământ sau în media au fost oprite, iar publicul nu mai are acces la operaţiunile până acum televizate ale NASA, nici la operaţiunile de programming de pe website-ul Administraţiei.
Vor fi trimişi în şomaj tehnic toţi angajaţii care lucrează cu jumătate de normă sau drept consilieri.

NASA a observat, pentru prima oară, o gaură neagră care a înghiţit o stea. Înghiţirea unei stele de către o gaură neagră se petrece aproximativ o dată la o sută de milioane de ani într-o galaxie.

După ce steaua a fost devorată, din gaura neagră a ieşit un jet de plasmă, cu o lungime de mii de ani de lumină. Acest eveniment extrem de rar a avut loc la patru miliarde de ani lumină faţă de Terra.

"Este ceva nemaivăzut!", a spus omul de ştiinţă Dr. David Burrows, profesor de astronomie de la Pennsylvania State University.

Conform descrierii oferite de site-ul oficial al Universităţii Berkley, care este special dedicat informaţiilor de acest fel, o gaură neagră este o porţiune de spaţiu cosmic cu o masă imensă imensă şi un câmp gravitaţional asemenea.

NASA isi pregateste personalul, membrii acestora de familie,

pentru o mare catastrofa terestra

Agentia Spatiala Americana (NASA) a dat o nota interna catre toti angajatii pe care ii pregateste pentru o catasrofa terestra ce pare iminenta si de neoprit. Ceva care ar putea sa genereze cutremure, eruptii vulcanice majore, inundatii, masive alunecari de teren, incalzire peste limitele admise, incendii de proportii apocaliptice etc.

Pe siteul NASA apare doar o confirmare a notei interne (un memo) care a fost preluat de la unul din angajati de catre publicatia on-line spaceref.com, specializat in astfel de situatii neprevazute si pericole care pot aparea din spatiul cosmic.

Nota interna a generat suficienta panica, punandu-se, implicit, intrebarea: pentru ce se pregateste NASA atat de special? Mai ales ca acest program este pus brusc in aplicare, dupa ce foarte multa vreme nu a existat un astfel de plan, care sa-i puna in garda pe angajatii Agentiei, dar si pe membrii de familie ai acestora.

Programul pare mai degraba desprins dintr-un film

despre Sfarsitul Lumii, decat de pe un site oficial.

Oameni, ATENTIE!

Evidence mounts for sun's companion star

NEWPORT BEACH, CA (April 24, 2006) - The Binary Research Institute (BRI) has found that orbital characteristics of the recently discovered planetoid, "Sedna", demonstrate the possibility that our sun might be part of a binary star system. A binary star system consists of two stars gravitationally bound orbiting a common center of mass. Once thought to be highly unusual, such systems are now considered to be common in the Milky Way galaxy.

Walter Cruttenden at BRI, Professor Richard Muller at UC Berkeley, Dr. Daniel Whitmire of the University of Louisiana, amongst several others, have long speculated on the possibility that our sun might have an as yet undiscovered companion. Most of the evidence has been statistical rather than physical. The recent discovery of Sedna, a small planet like object first detected by Cal Tech astronomer Dr. Michael Brown, provides what could be indirect physical evidence of a solar companion. Matching the recent findings by Dr. Brown, showing that Sedna moves in a highly unusual elliptical orbit, Cruttenden has determined that Sedna moves in resonance with previously published orbital data for a hypothetical companion star.

In the May 2006 issue of Discover, Dr. Brown stated: "Sedna shouldn't be there. There's no way to put Sedna where it is. It never comes close enough to be affected by the sun, but it never goes far enough away from the sun to be affected by other stars... Sedna is stuck, frozen in place; there's no way to move it, basically there's no way to put it there – unless it formed there. But it's in a very elliptical orbit like that. It simply can't be there. There's no possible way - except it is. So how, then?"

"I'm thinking it was placed there in the earliest history of the solar system. I'm thinking it could have gotten there if there used to be stars a lot closer than they are now and those stars affected Sedna on the outer part of its orbit and then later on moved away. So I call Sedna a fossil record of the earliest solar system. Eventually, when other fossil records are found, Sedna will help tell us how the sun formed and the number of stars that were close to the sun when it formed."

Walter Cruttenden agrees that Sedna's highly elliptical orbit is very unusual, but noted that the orbit period of 12,000 years is in neat resonance with the expected orbit periodicity of a companion star as outlined in several prior papers. Consequently, Cruttenden believes that Sedna's unusual orbit is something indicative of the current solar system configuration, not merely a historical record. "It is hard to imagine that Sedna would retain its highly elliptical orbit pattern since the beginning of the solar system billions of years ago. Because eccentricity would likely fade with time, it is logical to assume Sedna is telling us something about current, albeit unexpected solar system forces, most probably a companion star".

Outside of a few popular articles, and Cruttenden's book "Lost Star of Myth and Time", which outlines historical references and the modern search for the elusive companion, the possibility of a binary partner star to our sun has been left to the halls of academia. But with Dr. Brown's recent discoveries of Sedna and Xena, (now confirmed to be larger than Pluto), and timing observations like Cruttenden's, the search for a companion star may be gaining momentum.

Expertul în extratereştri Hartwig Hausford, din Anglia, a afirmat: “Se pare că cineva a reprogramat sau a răpit nava - nu cunoaştem tot adevărul”. Inginerii lucrează la rezolvarea misterului mesajelor trimise de Voyager 2, navă care a ajuns deja la marginea sistemului solar, la aproape 14 miliarde km distanţă faţă de Pământ. Lansată în 1977, nava spaţială Voyager 2 a explorat (împreună cu Voyager 1) planetele-gigant Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus şi Neptun.

După 33 de ani, cele două nave reprezintă cele mai îndepărtate obiecte aflate în spaţiu, realizate de mâna omului. Voyager 1 se află la 17 miliarde km distanţă de Pământ şi se aşteaptă ca în 5 ani să treacă prin heliosferă, un înveliş exterior al Soarelui, pentru ca apoi să părăsească sistemul solar.
