MYSTERIOUS PHOTOS OF WITCHES

OLD MYSTERIOUS PHOTOS OF WITCHES

Witches. One of the most persecuted, least understood groups of people on the planet. Blending ideas of occult magic with Wiccan and pagan traditions, practitioners of witchcraft have been labelled everything from demonic to jesters.

For most of their history, witches were treated with savagery and contempt; they were frequently run from towns during ‘witch hunts’ and, worse, burned at the stake for their heretical beliefs in black magic. Sometimes, they didn’t even practice black magic.

Sometimes, merely eccentric women or artists or alchemists that seemed peculiar to the hierarchical townsmen were cast out as witches.
The following photos are some mysterious images of witches from a time long forgotten…some are most likely costumes, but many look to be glimpses of strange ceremonies. See if any of the faces look familiar. It could be a distant relative of yours, casting a spell on you from the past.
And please have respect for witchcraft… as the Wiccan religion reads “We are all children of the earth”.

KRAMPUS DAY

Krampus glücklicher Tag – Happy Krampus Day!

krampus2_big

It’s December 5th, Krampus Day, that wonderful time of the year when the dark side of St Nicholas aka Santa Claus comes out to rein and reek havoc on all of those who have been “naughty” whether adult or child. I find this old Pagan holdover, which is coming back in Europe and even in the US, to be very refreshing as more and more Christmas commercials appear on TV and the fantasy of our modern commercial orgy manifest. Switches instead of sugar plums start to dance in my head, lol.
image
Here’s a great link to the The Truth About Krampus from the Atlas Obscura website, which contains a lot of good pictures.
And finally here in nearby Philadelphia PA marks the third year of their Krampuslauf or Krampus Run, which looks like a lot of fun and i hope some friends can attend next year. Hey, its the only time of the year you can put a collar around your children’s necks and drag them around on chains and run after them with switches, or run after women with whips, without being arrested for assault or child abuse! LOL. Enjoy!

SARBATOAREA FOCULUI SACRU-IMBOLC-THE FEAST OF THE SACRED FIRE

Mai mult despre Regina excelentei(in arta, razboi, vindecare, etc) si a tuturor locurilor si frecventelor inalte in articolul excelent scris de mai jos.

brighid 221x300 Brighid Pagans and ChristiansKnown as the Goddess of healers, poets, smiths, childbirth and inspiration, fire and hearth, Brighid is the classic Celtic Triple Goddess.
Brighid is the Daughter of the Dagda and one of the Tuatha D Danann, Brighid one of the more universal deities of the pagan Gaelic world.

Brighid is possibly one of the most important goddess in British and Irish history but like most deities much of her history has been lost since most of the information about her was passed on through oral tradition.

Any written documentation was written after she was transformed by the Church into St. Brigid (aprox 453 C.E.), which make almost impossible to discern where the goddess starts and the saint begins, An t-Athair Sean O’Quinn a renowned Irish Celtic scholar is quoted saying It is an exercise in futility to try and separate the historical Christian Brighid from the Goddess since clearly the two are so interwoven.

There is a possibility that St. Brighid may have been a priestess of Brighid and through a blending of pagan Christian beliefs that the cult of Brighid was absorbed into the Christian faith and the role of priestess became the role of a nun.

Brighid is the Goddess of healing, craft (predominantly smith crafts) and poetry, and wisdom. She is the Goddess of fire, the hearth and energy. She is the Goddess of fertility and is said to lean over every cradle. She is associated with sovereignty and protection of her isles and the sea.

Brighid is the goddess of all things perceived to be of relatively high dimensions such as high-rising flames, highlands, hill-forts and upland areas; and of activities and states conceived as psychologically lofty and elevated, such as wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithing), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare. In the living traditions, whether seen as goddess or saint, she is largely associated with the home and hearth and is a favourite of both Pagans and Christians.

Brighid is a Fire Goddess and as Brighid’s Cross is in the form of a solar wheel she may also be a Sun Goddess. Legend says that when Brighid was born, a tower of flame reaching from the top of her head to the heavens. Her birth, which took place at sunrise, is rumoured to have given the family house the appearance of being on fire. It is believed that nineteen priestesses tended the eternal flame of Brighid at the place now known as Kildare.

The Priestesses of Brighid kept her flame eternally lit. 19 Priestesses kept vigil and made sure the flame was never extinguished. When Christianity spread throughout Ireland, the Goddess was so engrained in the Irish people that they couldn’t eradicate her, therefore she became a Saint. In the 6th century, a monastery was built on the same sight where the Priestesses kept vigil at the Fire Temple. The original monastery no longer exists but a new Cathedral was built on the site during the 13th century.

This Cathedral still stands and the sisters of St. Brigid (nuns) continued the work begun by her Priestesses. They too kept her flame ignited until the time of the Reformation in the 16th century. It was at this time that King Henry XIII destroyed many of the monasteries.

The flame was extinguished but never forgotten. On February 1, 1807 Daniel Delany, Bishop of Kildare, began the restoration of the Sisterhood of St. Brigid. Their mission was to restore the ancient order and bring back the legacy and spirit of this amazing figure. In 1993, Brighids perpetual flame was finally re-kindled in Kildares Market Square by Mary Teresa Cullen, who at that time was the leader of the Brigidine Sisters.

The sacred flame was kept by the Brigidine Sisters in their home and on February 1, 2006, the flame was brought back to the centre of the Market Square where it has been permanently housed in a large glass enclosed vessel.

Brighid is such a popular goddess and is also known as-
Brghde/Brde (Scotland)
Fraid (Wales) Because of Welsh pronunciation mutations, her name changes to ‘Ffraid’ when following an [s] sound, such as in the name ‘Llansanffraid’ = ‘Saint Bride’s Village’ and Llansantffraid-ym-Mechain
Breo Saighead (“the fiery arrow” a folk etymology found in Sanas Cormaic, but considered very unlikely by etymologists)

Brigandu (Gaul)
Brigantia (Great Britain)
Brigantia (former Gallaecia, modern Betanzos)
Braga (former Gallaecia, modern Northern Portugal)

A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHRISTMAS

Everything about ‘Christmas’ as we know, is mostly pagan. Every scholar knows that Christ was not born in 1 AD at this time of year. Christmas traditions are from the festival of Yule celebrated by European Norse peoples who practiced the old rituals and customs of the Cult of Divine Kingship specifically and on the Solstice from 20 to 25 December.
Odin was their main God King and father of all the other Gods. To mark the birth of the new sun at the Winter Solstice, Odin became the ‘Hunter’ flying through the air on his phantom steed on a Wild Hunt. His cloak is the pelt of the King Stag who he has slain and worn inside out to display the fresh crimson blood.
This blood and the hunt show his sovereignty over the land. His hair is white as wool to signify his status as the old King Stag harkening the birth of the new light, the new sun, the new king. All who witness this hunt on the eve of Yule, when the light is to be reborn and the sun come unto the earth anew, will perish if their soul weighs too light, or be rewarded with a bounty of gifts if their spirit be true.
This ‘Red & Bloody Sovereign of Stags’ is my kind of Santa! When Odin sacrificed himself on the evergreen World Tree, the Yggdrasil, he gained the knowledge of the runes, the knowledge of writing for all mankind. When he opened his mouth to speak the words, vines poured forth from his lips and sought the earth.
And thus, through the King, the heavens and the earth were joined by the light of human understanding and secret wisdom. Today, all who follow the Cult of Divine Kingship keep Yule and all its Norse traditions well at this time of year. When you put up your tree, it is an act of worship and a symbol of the Yggdrasil.
The baubles and garlands twisting around it are a symbol of the heavenly spheres and the movement of shamans around the tree of life. All gifts given are in remembrance for the gifts that Odin places upon those who seek his wisdom and share solidarity with their kin in good spirit.
For all who follow the Cult of Divine Kingship, for all Free Gnostics, Christmas is their ‘Mass for the new Messiah’ and all its trappings and customs are an act of veneration for the birth of the solar king and his sacrifice for our knowledge and evolution.
Let all who look upon the carved face of the Green Man in holy places; be reminded not of fertility and mere pagan concerns for fecundity, or even of the attempt of the Church to convert pagans. When you look upon the Green Man, recognise the true face of the ‘One God’ and the ‘Head of the King’.
For all who have his wisdom will recognise this simple truth: The Head of the King is the Seat of all Knowledge; The Knowledge is the Grail; The Grail is the Word; The Word is the Vine; The Vine is the Land; The King and the Land are One!!! Happy Christmas everyone and Happy Hunting.

THE MISTS OF AVALON-CETURILE DIN AVALON

P.S-Anjelica Huston e geniala in rol, dar-again-toti joaca bine.

MAESTRUL SI MARGARETA(SUBS RO)-MASTER AND MARGARITA

GENIAL!!!

MASTER AND MARGARITA the masterpiece movie made after the classical book of Mikhail Bulgakov, an excellent miniseries about the liberating magickal power of love that saves anyone, about spirits, allies, the devil and the beauty of the female intent. A must for the magickal and spiritual seeker.(press CC for english subs)

STEAUA LUI DAVID SI ALTE STELE

MOTTO: "Googalaiz it!"
Repet again and again and again and again. EXISTA GOOGLE!
