Mai mult despre Regina excelentei(in arta, razboi, vindecare, etc) si a tuturor locurilor si frecventelor inalte in articolul excelent scris de mai jos.

brighid 221x300 Brighid Pagans and ChristiansKnown as the Goddess of healers, poets, smiths, childbirth and inspiration, fire and hearth, Brighid is the classic Celtic Triple Goddess.
Brighid is the Daughter of the Dagda and one of the Tuatha D Danann, Brighid one of the more universal deities of the pagan Gaelic world.

Brighid is possibly one of the most important goddess in British and Irish history but like most deities much of her history has been lost since most of the information about her was passed on through oral tradition.

Any written documentation was written after she was transformed by the Church into St. Brigid (aprox 453 C.E.), which make almost impossible to discern where the goddess starts and the saint begins, An t-Athair Sean O’Quinn a renowned Irish Celtic scholar is quoted saying It is an exercise in futility to try and separate the historical Christian Brighid from the Goddess since clearly the two are so interwoven.

There is a possibility that St. Brighid may have been a priestess of Brighid and through a blending of pagan Christian beliefs that the cult of Brighid was absorbed into the Christian faith and the role of priestess became the role of a nun.

Brighid is the Goddess of healing, craft (predominantly smith crafts) and poetry, and wisdom. She is the Goddess of fire, the hearth and energy. She is the Goddess of fertility and is said to lean over every cradle. She is associated with sovereignty and protection of her isles and the sea.

Brighid is the goddess of all things perceived to be of relatively high dimensions such as high-rising flames, highlands, hill-forts and upland areas; and of activities and states conceived as psychologically lofty and elevated, such as wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithing), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare. In the living traditions, whether seen as goddess or saint, she is largely associated with the home and hearth and is a favourite of both Pagans and Christians.

Brighid is a Fire Goddess and as Brighid’s Cross is in the form of a solar wheel she may also be a Sun Goddess. Legend says that when Brighid was born, a tower of flame reaching from the top of her head to the heavens. Her birth, which took place at sunrise, is rumoured to have given the family house the appearance of being on fire. It is believed that nineteen priestesses tended the eternal flame of Brighid at the place now known as Kildare.

The Priestesses of Brighid kept her flame eternally lit. 19 Priestesses kept vigil and made sure the flame was never extinguished. When Christianity spread throughout Ireland, the Goddess was so engrained in the Irish people that they couldn’t eradicate her, therefore she became a Saint. In the 6th century, a monastery was built on the same sight where the Priestesses kept vigil at the Fire Temple. The original monastery no longer exists but a new Cathedral was built on the site during the 13th century.

This Cathedral still stands and the sisters of St. Brigid (nuns) continued the work begun by her Priestesses. They too kept her flame ignited until the time of the Reformation in the 16th century. It was at this time that King Henry XIII destroyed many of the monasteries.

The flame was extinguished but never forgotten. On February 1, 1807 Daniel Delany, Bishop of Kildare, began the restoration of the Sisterhood of St. Brigid. Their mission was to restore the ancient order and bring back the legacy and spirit of this amazing figure. In 1993, Brighids perpetual flame was finally re-kindled in Kildares Market Square by Mary Teresa Cullen, who at that time was the leader of the Brigidine Sisters.

The sacred flame was kept by the Brigidine Sisters in their home and on February 1, 2006, the flame was brought back to the centre of the Market Square where it has been permanently housed in a large glass enclosed vessel.

Brighid is such a popular goddess and is also known as-
Brghde/Brde (Scotland)

The Secrets to Eating Right In 2013

Are you ready to make the Year of the Water Snake your healthiest year ever?  Look, we've been into the calendar new year for a month now and I'm wondering how many of you are sticking to your exercise regimen, still eating the right foods and in general taking care of yourself?

We Chinese believe that the secret to happiness emanates from a healthy body and mind...they are inseparable. The health of the body affects that of the mind...and both are defined in terms of CHI. The key to a healthy body is to eat a correct balance of Yin and Yang foods...and to reduce the intake of pollutants like chemical and artificial additives.

The "Chi Theory" of Food

The health of the body affects
that of the mind
Now as many of you know, "chi" is described as the LIFE FORCE of the human body and spirit. When it is in balance it radiates strong heath and interacts favorably with the environment of space and time.

When it is out of balance, it becomes weak and this manifests a variety of negative body systems. Hence the quality of your body chi is a vital component of your personal feng shui.

One form of energy or "Chi" is the food we eat - and since it is the easiest and most accessible form of energy, it is helpful to understand the "Chi Theory" of food.

According to this theory the higher up the food is in the echelon of living things, the less favorable it is in terms of being a source of good Chi.

Animal foods are high up the echelon while vegetable foods are in the middle level and root foods are on the lowest level...so the most favorable foods are plants and vegetables but better yet the edible roots of the plants. So a good rule of thumb is the closer to the ground or earth, the more favorable in being a source of Chi.

YIN YANG YUM!

Tea is Yin, Coffee is Yang
YIN FOODS

Foods are also classified according to yin and yang. If you follow the Chi theory of food, it is generally accepted that when your body is more "yin" in nature, you will live a longer life because the degeneration of the internal organs is slowed down...thus many people favor a diet of more "yin" foods.

Yin foods are also ideal for those who feel stressed out, irritable and under pressure as they serve to calm the spirit and revitalize the inner Chi essence...and they are generally best consumed during the summer "yang" months to help keep the body in balance.

Do be aware that too much yin food in the body reveals itself in forgetfulness, tiredness, lethargy and a general feeling of listlessness. Bodily symptoms could manifest in the form of diarrhea, pale complexion and lack of color in the eyes and skin.

If you observe these symptoms you may want to up your intake of YANG foods. For your reference I have included a list of yin & yang foods which is by no means exhaustive but will give you some ideas.

YIN Foods
  • Foods that are green or white in color and slow to cook
  • Grain products
  • Beans of green variety
  • Plain rice and porridge
  • Plain tofu bean curd
  • Melons
  • Seaweed
  • Green vegetables
  • White vegetables
  • Water
  • Tea
  • Boiled and Steamed Foods
  • Foods that are cool and bland
Cooking tips to make your food more YIN
  • Use less heat, less salt and less cooking time
  • Some suggested methods of cooking are boiling, poaching and steaming
  • Use fresh raw foods and steam them
  • In the summer when temperatures are higher (YANG) try a lighter style of cooking using less spices and more fresh, raw foods so that the energy that dominates will be YIN

Stressed out? Eat more Yin Foods
YANG FOODS

Yang foods on the other hand are usually rich, heavily flavored strongly sauced and hot, often fried and best eaten during the winter "yin" months. Yang foods are excellent for those who are chronically short of energy (your body is depleted of yang essence and will benefit from extra yang chi) and also for new mothers.

When there is an excess of Yang foods in the body, you may find bodily symptoms such as heartburn, constipation, cold sores, rashes, pimples, acne and ulcers and when you observe such symptoms you may want to increase your intake of Yin foods.

YANG Foods
  • Foods with gold or red colours on the inside with strong taste
  • Usually baked, fried or barbecued
  • Meat products - lamb, veal beef,
  • Fish - salmon, tuna, cod etc
  • Poultry - chicken, duck, geese
  • Crustaceans - prawns, lobsters, crab
  • Carrots, tomatoes, garlic, onion
  • Pineapple and mango
  • Carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol of all kinds
  • Chocolates, Sweets
  • Nuts
  • Chiles
Cooking tips to make your food more YANG
  • Use more heat, salt and cook longer
  • Some suggested methods of cooking are deep-frying, roasting and stir-fry and BBQ
  • In the winter months when temperatures are colder (YIN), try a heartier style of cooking likes stews and soups and use lots of spices so that the energy that dominates will be YANG

Yang foods are often fried with sauce
The key to a healthy body is to eat the correct balance of yin and yang foods...so if you're feeling stressed try more yin foods, and if you're tired and listless add more yang foods to your diet.
Good luck
Lillian

Original DaVinci Code~Henry Lincoln

See also Henry Lincoln's 1979 documentary, The Shadow of the Templars, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_TwfpFXz6A
A small paperback bought by Henry Lincoln changed his life. The story of a then little-known village in the foothills of the Pyrenees, the now famous Rennes-le- Chateau.

Henry Lincoln made three television documentary films for the BBC series, Chronicle. In 1972 "The Lost Treasure of Jerusalem" was the first anyone outside France had ever heard of this extraordinary story, and followed in 1975 by "The Priest, the Painter, and the Devil" then "The Shadow of the Templars" in 1979.
Lincoln brought in Richard Lee and Michael Baigent, which led to the bestselling book 1982, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail.

1,000 miles NNE of Rennes-le-Chateau finds us in the Baltic Sea on a tiny Danish island called Bornholm. The Danish institute for map production, the Kort & Matrikelstryrelsen, uses the crosses on the spires of the island's fifteen churches as trig points. Their positions are therefore published and known to the millimetre.

What makes the churches on Bornholm unique is that four of them have a circular ground plan, which flags up the possibility of certain historical associations for the churches. But it was the symbolic elements of this fact that inspired Haagensen to ask the question: "is there a geometric relationship between the churches themselves?"

What is worrying about the Bornholm geometry is that not only is its existence confirmed mathematically and statistically, thanks to the accuracy of the available trig point data, but that it displays a sense of purpose. Since Bornholm has set the benchmark for absolute geometric conformity so high, there will remain some question marks over the Rennes-le-Chateau geometry until is confirmed to the same accuracy. Moreover, despite its complexity and elegance, the Rennes-le-Chateau geometry seems more creative and expressive a work of art while Bornholm's geometry reads like a blueprint. The positions of the fifteen churches of Bornholm are the key to a complex, cohesive geometric design that, on the ground, is over 20 miles across. The design can be reproduced on a sheet of paper by anyone equipped with a straight edge, a compass and a simple set of instructions. But what really sets it apart, what demands that the whole phenomenon must be taken seriously from a historical and archaeological point of view, is that this design demonstrates an answer to a mathematical problem once though to be insoluble.

The Bornholm geometry demonstrates knowledge. It demonstrates how to create angles, it demonstrates how to create Pi, it demonstrates the golden section and the whole interlocking harmony of the circle, the triangle, square, pentagram, hexagram, etc., etc.. To us it must also demonstrate that whoever constructed this design must have regarded this knowledge as secret knowledge, sacred knowledge. Why else hide it so elaborately? The geometry of both Rennes-le-Chateau and Bornholm indicates an extraordinary commitment of manpower and surveying skill to the preservation of what? With our modern perspective it is difficult to see what could be deemed so extraordinarily special about geometry and its properties that renders it imperative to hide its secrets so obscurely and so permanently.

One thing consistent to both Bornholm and the Rennes-le-Chateau area is how strongly the Knights Templar figure once the histories are investigated. The fact of the round churches is a hallmark of Templar influence and, interestingly, the name Bornholm is a diminution of the original name of the island Burgunderholm. It is said that the Burgundians originally came from Bornholm and one of the most famous Burgundians was Bernard of Clairveaux protector of the Knights Templar. The Grand Master of the Knights Templar after Bernard's death was one Bertrand de Blanchefort and Blanchefort is the name given to the mountain adjacent to Rennes-le-Chateau in the pentacle of mountains.

Carla's Dreams - Născut În Moldova

TEXT:

Fiecare o are, cineva mai mult,
